Learning by Doing-Creating a School Store
This session we will share how we created a work based experience course by opening up our own school store, The Tiger Den. We will explain how our students have learned about marketing, graphics, finance and production. We will share how we have used our laser engraver and screen printer to make items such as shirts, tumblers, coasters and so much more. Our students gained valuable customer service skills while designing all of the merchandise that we sell.
