Updating staff and community members is a time-consuming task for teachers and administrators. I will share my method for communicating with groups associated with the school along with successes and failures along the way. This session will engage teachers and administrators in the process to develop a method for communication and review different tools to make it all happen.
This session we will share how we created a work based experience course by opening up our own school store, The Tiger Den. We will explain how our students have learned about marketing, graphics, finance and production. We will share how we have used our laser engraver and screen printer to make items such as shirts, tumblers, coasters and so much more. Our students gained valuable customer service skills while designing all of the merchandise that we sell.
